About the Author

Caroline Kennedy is the editor of the New York Times bestselling A Patriot’s Handbook, Profiles in Courage for Our Time, The Best-Loved Poems of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, A Family of Poems, A Family Christmas, and the coauthor of The Right to Privacy and In Our Defense. She serves as the vice chair of the Fund for Public Schools in New York City and president of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. She lives in New York City.

About the Narrator

Mattie Stepanek (1990–2004) started writing poetry and short stories at the age of three. In 1999 he was awarded the Melinda Lawrence International Book Award for inspirational written works by the Children’s Hospice International. He served as the Maryland State Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and in 2002 became the National Goodwill Ambassador.
