"Hechtman's writing is fun and introspective, and Molly is a likable character."

" My husband is really into crotchet, and we like to listen to cozy mysteries on road trips. This sounded like it would combine the two, so we gave it a try. We didn't really like it. The way the narrator read the dialogue was kind of odd, like she was always giving everyone as attitude with her tone. It brought unnecessary strife to the conversations. Cozy mysteries are known for the quirky side characters. The side characters in this were either mean or boring or snippy. We really like cozy mysteries, but we didn't enjoy this one much. "
