Listener Opinions

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Pat | 2/9/2014

" Not my type--too much of a romance, too little suspense. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Sara | 2/3/2014

" This isn't the typical "who did it" story because you know what's going on. The mystery is how is the hero going to come to the rescue and what are they going to put her thru. There's a love story thru it too (of course). Not my favorite book, but still good. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Nancy | 1/31/2014

" It's been awhile since I've read a Nora Roberts book but this one sucked me right in and I couldn't put it down until I was finished. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 J. | 1/29/2014

" I only started reading Nora Roberts about a year & a half ago. I (as some others I see) was put of by the "romance novel" thing. Boy was I wrong! I enjoy almost all of her books including & especially the In Death Series. This particular book (Hidden Riches)was allot of fun for me. I just had to like the quirky characters and it had a nice 'flow'. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Snem | 1/10/2014

" Solid Nora Roberts novel with very well written characters. A little too much ink spent on the bad guys, but all in all it's a very entertaining read when you need a little break. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Dianna | 1/6/2014

" Love it just as much the 2nd time around. Even though you know who the bad guy is all along it's fun to follow the process. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Jenny | 1/1/2014

" A fairly modern romance thriller set in Philadelphia, PA which involves curio shop owner, Dora Conroy, and an ex-cop millionaire, Jed Skimmerhorn. Snappy dialogue between the characters and enough plot to keep the romance story interesting. "

" Pleasant read... listen. Like many of Roberts books, they're light reading that I find enjoyable listening on my iPod as I do projects around house/yard. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Barbara | 12/6/2013

" My favorite Nora Roberts book. Re-read this one every couple of years. Beautiful antiques dealer, burnt out cop, slimy smuggler of antiques, a fatal mix-up of shipments and then throw in her theatrical parents--what's not to like? "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Sashoy Wilson | 8/9/2013

" Enjoyed this book immensely, fairly quick and I could envision the characters as old people bickering and still in love which was nice. Filled with murder and theatrical people it passed to the time and was gripping. A must read old school Nora Roberts. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Donna | 6/11/2013

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Barb | 11/10/2012

" Pretty standard Nora Roberts fare ... not her best by any stretch of the imagination. I kind of missed the element of mystery that she usually includes with her more suspensful books. It was a quick no-brainer of a read. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Angie | 10/14/2011

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Cindi | 3/2/2011

" Great book. Great story. I loved the twist at the end, though I had that particular part of the story (the who and the why) figured out early on. I just was not sure how it would play out. Definitely one of my favorites of Nora Roberts' stand-alone books. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Vanessa | 3/1/2011

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Alisha | 2/8/2011

" Probably my favorite full length novel from her. I love how the two main characters kept meeting at different points of their life. They were both so endearing. I loved the Hollywood past Olivia's parents were from. I was not expecting the ending. Awesome story. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Sue | 2/2/2011

" I finished this book about a month ago and couldn't tell you one thing that happened. I honestly can't even remember who the main characters are from this one. I think this means that I've read way too many of her books! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Pam | 1/26/2011
