Having garnered such honors as the Laurel Wreath Award for Historical Romance, CBA best-selling author Delia Parr delivers an engaging tale set in the outskirts of 1830s Philadelphia. While on her way to a new life, Annabelle Tyler finds herself handcuffed by highwaymen to Harrison Graymoor-Philadelphia's most eligible bachelor-and thrust into a marriage neither wants. "Dealia Parr is a great author and this book did not disappoint. I could hardly put this down. I was so disappointed when I had to stop reading to go do other things because I didn 't want to put this book down. "

" A fan of Delia Parr I was eager to find there was a book of hers I hadn't read yet. However it left me wanting. While I believe it was well written, I felt as if the characters didn't really connect with each other, and I didn't really connect with them. "

" I am not usually a fan of books like these but this one was lent to me by a friend and it wasn't bad. It was quick and easy. A couple in the 1800s wakes up handcuffed to one another and end up....well, I won't spoil it. The book was mindless entertainment but it wasn't terrible. "
