"A bit slow in the middle but a good read. Also I didn't like how things with her friend weren't resolved unless that is the next book?" — Jen (4 out of 5 stars)
"A bit slow in the middle but a good read. Also I didn't like how things with her friend weren't resolved unless that is the next book?"
" I wanted to like it, really, but I just couldn't. I think this is the first romance novel I've picked up that I haven't finished. I couldn't stand the hero's neurotic whining, it wore thin by chapter 6 and by chapter 26 I was choking the book down and couldn't finish. "
" Very good. Too much brooding. "
" First time for me with this author and I am glad I bought it..This was a good hot read.. "
" It was pretty good. The writing was good, the plot was good, but I guess I don't like a lot of talk during the sex scenes, because it really took me out of the story. Meh for me, but only because of personal preference. "
" I would give this a 3 1/2 star. I t was a good book. I will be looking for more by this author. "
" The sex scenes are hot, but the plot is contrived and the hero is very irritating - he has fixed notions about himself and his wife that he won't let go of until the very end. "
" First read from this author but won't be my last... how I adore erotic historical romance but it's so hard to find! "
" It was a cheep book. Not all that good. "
" I understand being dumbfounded once secrets are revealed, but not addressing or glossing over then? That was irritating, but I did laughed quite often. Unfortunately, I don't believe "funny" was the objective in most cases. "
