Roy Rogers, Jr., is the eldest natural son of famed western stars Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley with five sisters and one brother and admits that he wanted to get into show business since he was sixteen. His first taste of show business was a small part on his father’s television series, The Roy Rogers Show, while he was very small. He later starred in his own television variety show, The Roy Rogers Jr. Show, and has even performed at Carnegie Hall. Apart from his career as a performer, he also serves as the president and director of the Roy Rogers-Dale Evans Museum, acting as the main spokesperson for the Rogers family.
Dale Evans Rogers (1912–2001) was a singer, actress, writer, speaker, and America’s best-loved cowgirl. She was married to the late Roy Rogers.
