“Pam Ward is completely engaging as she narrates Wagman–Geller’s in-depth look at a group of women who didn’t stop achieving once they reached ‘a certain age’….Ward makes each of these extended biographies compelling listening. She doesn’t attempt to emulate voices in dialogue but instead offers an intelligent examination of how these women refused to allow misogyny to hold them back…Wagman-Geller highlights the wisdom and perseverance of these remarkable women, and Ward’s narration makes us sit up and listen.”
