  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Karen | 2/5/2014

" It was entertaining and definitely written in the voice of the show, but I wouldn't classify it as a "must-read." "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Vicki | 1/27/2014

" Yes, another young adult novel! Got this from my friends at Little Brown who know I'm a gleek. Fun writing style, jumping around between the different character's point of views within each chapter. Great to see the show producer/creator give the writer leeway to create the pre-story to the TV show, and get a little insight into how all the relationships started. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Victoria Galpin | 1/18/2014

" I didn't care much for this, I already watched the tv shows, so maybe thats why, I just found it a little boring. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Claire | 1/13/2014

" Didn't really follow the show, but as a fan of glee I thought it was interesting. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Maia Gilioli | 1/11/2014

" let me just say that i LOVE glee!i got this book at a booksale and was so excited to read it! i finished it very quickly and liked it. i have the next two on hold at the library and also can't wait to read those! this is a good easy read for all those that share the love of glee!if you are not a fan of glee however, this book is not for you. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Gabriel Mero | 12/19/2013

" I don't know why this book got such negative reviews. It stayed true to the series and the characterizations were spot-on. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Umachan Lovchik | 11/21/2013

" If you are desperate for a Glee fix during the off-season and the CDs and DVDs from the first season aren't cutting it, this book might be a guilty pleasure. If you are not a Glee fan, this mediocre "prequel" to the series will not win you over. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Laura | 11/19/2013

" While no where near as good as the TV show, this book was cute and had some really funny moments. I think what is most missed from the on screen portrayal is how the brilliants actors in the show play the characters and of course, the musical numbers! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Timmy Naces | 10/13/2013

" LOL Rachel is so damn funny "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Bethany | 2/10/2013

" Although this book has a different background on Quinn's pregnancy than in canon Glee I still love the book and the way it is written! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Julia | 12/29/2012

" hands down awesome! i <3 glee soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Sarah | 8/6/2012

" This book gives you the backround to the Glee Club that the show Glee is based on. It was a nice light read in the summer and I enjoyed reading it, but it isn't one of my favorites. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Sherri | 4/16/2012

" This book was definitely written at a young adult level, but it's a nice, quick read. You learn a lot of background about the glee kids, and how some of them first met. If you're a true "gleek", you'll enjoy it. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Avalon | 11/18/2011

    " OMG! AMAZING! I LOVE GLEEEEEEE "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Oumiie | 8/13/2011

" This book is basically about a musical lead by a Spanish teacher. The musical has a variety of songs. In the book, i really loved Rachel. She is the kind of girl who doesn't care about what people say ! She's always positive with a positive attitude. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Erin | 6/10/2011

" Calling all Gleeks!!! This book is great for anyone who love the show, show choirs, or music!!! Awesome!!! "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Georgi | 4/25/2011

" I can't say it is a gripping , thrilling or exciting book. I was merely curious so I read it and it lived up to my expectation completely- pretty mediocre, but it is good if you are not a very advanced reader. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Cynthia | 4/20/2011

" idk had not fisned it yet "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Tara | 3/19/2011

" It's an ok start, but I feel like the characters are caricatures of themselves. I'm not convinced that this is a good translation to novelization. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Elain | 3/12/2011

" It doesn't deserve a 5-star rating for me - sure enough, it wasn't a strong foundation built to support the incoming series. Plot needs to be slightly edited badly. "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Katie Rose | 3/4/2011

" I LOVE GLEE! I AM GLEEFUL ABOUT GLEE! "

  • 5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 The Mad Hatter | 2/24/2011

" Really awesome.Great for gleeks. If you are a new gleek it helps tell the story a bit more and helps you to understand which characters are which etc. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Yanet | 2/8/2011

" love glee but i just wasn't very motivated to read this book. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Roseann | 1/31/2011

" OK, so I am a certified Gleek. I saw this on the YA shelves and had to check it out. While the author has Rachel down to a tee, Sue (who I love to hate) comes across poorly on the page. I will probably check out the next in this series, but it is definitely for middle-grade readers. "
