"This book is basically about a musical lead by a Spanish teacher. The musical has a variety of songs. In the book, i really loved Rachel. She is the kind of girl who doesn't care about what people say ! She's always positive with a positive attitude."

" It was entertaining and definitely written in the voice of the show, but I wouldn't classify it as a "must-read." "

" Yes, another young adult novel! Got this from my friends at Little Brown who know I'm a gleek. Fun writing style, jumping around between the different character's point of views within each chapter. Great to see the show producer/creator give the writer leeway to create the pre-story to the TV show, and get a little insight into how all the relationships started. "

" If you are desperate for a Glee fix during the off-season and the CDs and DVDs from the first season aren't cutting it, this book might be a guilty pleasure. If you are not a Glee fan, this mediocre "prequel" to the series will not win you over. "

" While no where near as good as the TV show, this book was cute and had some really funny moments. I think what is most missed from the on screen portrayal is how the brilliants actors in the show play the characters and of course, the musical numbers! "

" OK, so I am a certified Gleek. I saw this on the YA shelves and had to check it out. While the author has Rachel down to a tee, Sue (who I love to hate) comes across poorly on the page. I will probably check out the next in this series, but it is definitely for middle-grade readers. "
