"This book is a great book for anyone who likes a great mystery. I like so much because of all the suspense and the ghosts in it. There is this tower that Gilda and her long lost cousin Juliet try to go up in because they think it is holding a secret from Juliet's aunt who supposedly killed herself. They think someone killed her so they try to get into that tower to try to find the secret."

" It was good. It got better towards the end, and some parts were kind of disturbing, but otherwise, it was good. "
— Haley, 2/19/2014" Gilda Joyce :Physic Investigator was a fun quirky little mystery. Gilda is a outspoken but good hearted heroine. After managing to invite herself to her distant cousins home in San Francisco for the summer she finds herself involved in a mystery. Gilda manages to solve the mystery with her own personal style and plenty of humor. "
— Sherrie, 2/19/2014" Gilda Joyce. Well, I liked the character better than the story. The story was a little weak if you ask me, but Gilda is entertaining enough that you don't mind too much. There just isn't much substance beyond her so I'm not sure if I'll be reading the rest of the series. "
— Keith, 2/17/2014" A fun book to listen to with a 7 year old. "
— Scott, 2/7/2014" Was kind of shocked by the language used in the book felt it was more geared towards YA. So really surprised the lead character was a thirteen year old. But I guess that is how they all talk now. Don't think I would recommend this book to my children though. "

— Delaney, 5/13/2011" Great snarky fun with a lead character that's quirky and offbeat. Throw in a mysterious house and some hidden rooms, etc., and it's a breezy 300 pages. Curious to read the subsequent adventures to see if the author can sustain what she started. "
