It seems even when they find their mates they roof is falling in and they don't get a chance to enjoy life in the least."

" I liked the worldbuilding in the first book and was looking forward to more after a good strong start. Sadly, this second entry is a rewrite of book one. Same story, remarkably similar hero/heroine, same villain, same quest, same conclusion. I doubt I'll go forward with the series. "
