Publisher Description

Is this all you're living for?

For years, pastor Paul Tripp understood we were "hardwired for forever." But he didn't understand that it was more than a valuable insight. It is a practical tool to help us face the disappointment of everyday life. Now he knows, and he can help you discover how to survive and thrive in the middle of your story, with the final chapter of heaven in view.

Instead of embracing the world's motto--"you only live once"--follow Tripp as he unpacks the biblical truth of the world as a broken place, longing for a second chance. And come alive as you discover the meaning and redemption all this brokenness can bring to your life today.

With practical insights on how eternity impacts your relationships, your job, your kids, and your deepest struggles, you'll be encouraged to relax into the eternal story God is writing for you. You really are hardwired for eternity, and this book reveals how you can begin to view all that happens in your life as preparation for Forever.

"A great perspective-changing book. I especially liked chapters 9, 12, and 13. Tripp helpfully connects what we can hope for in heaven to how we live and view our life in the here and now."

" This is hard to review. What I love about this book, I love with 5 stars. However, I found the writing to get redundant quite often. Tripp is great on God's Sovereignty, but then reneges it all by saying God had a plan "B". GOD NEVER HAD A PLAN B. Therefore, 3 stars. Paul David Tripp "

About Maurice England

Maurice England moved to the Chicago area in the fall of 2006, after a twelve year run as a long-haul trucker, to continue the cultivation of his lifelong interest in the expressive arts and oral interpretation. A veteran audiophile, Maurice listened to well over one thousand audiobooks while on the road and fell in love with the genre. From his past experience in broadcasting, community theater, music performance, and ministry he saw narrating as a means to merge his love for books, ideas, learning, and spiritual evolution with his interest in artistic expression. While his narration experience has primarily been nonfiction, personal development, and spiritual-growth titles, Maurice anticipates using his authentically warm and folksy southern style to entertain and inspire through storytelling. Inspired most by the behind-the-scenes artists who engineer, direct, edit, and master the audiobook productions we hear, Maurice has become an absorbed student and participant in the process.
