"I'm not usually into conspiracy thrillers, but there was something about this book description that made me want to read it. Probably because it was set in Iowa and I lived there for forever before moving to where I am now. This is a book that makes you think about something like this really happening, and with all the chemicals out there, it's certainly a believable scenario. This book had me guessing and speculating 'til the end about who the good people were... and weren't. I enjoyed the writing. I liked Ellie's toughness and how she stood up for what she believed in and wasn't afraid to kick some ass along the way. Good, intriguing read."

" I gave this book two stars because I honestly thought "it was ok." Perhaps this wasn't really my type of book as I see a lot of others really liked it. The story played out in my mind like a made for TV thriller. It was entertaining, but I wanted more out of it. Maybe if I shared some of what the main characters were smoking I'd have appreciated it more...? "
