Flow Alignment by Tim Maples is a 60 minute flowing vinyasa yoga class with a focus on alignment. Correct alignment promotes more effective movement and a greater flow of prana throughout the body.
The class suitable for beginners who have used the Fundamentals of Flow class and those with experience who are looking to refresh their vinyasa practice. Throughout the class the Ujjayi breath is used to link a wide range of effective yoga postures. The class concludes with a deeply calming body-scan relaxation set to a soothing background music soundscape.
The class uses clear, easy-to-follow expert tuition devised and recorded by Tim Maples in the Wellbeing World sound studio. Tim is an amazing yoga teacher with over 35 years experience. In creating this class Tim has drawn on many influences including Iyengar Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and traditional Raja Yoga precepts which are based on four principles of self-awareness, breath, alignment and flow.
