"Capt. Dale Black shares a compelling story of living through a non-survivable plane crash and surrendering to the power of miracles. The greatest miracle is his transformation from a rebellious teenager to a faithful Christian, now passionate in his trust for God. This book recounts his journey to recover from severe head trauma and damage to his body. He gradually reveals his visions and sensations of Heaven, so lovely, intense, and detailed and yet still hard to imagine. Ultimately, his near death experience and his inner resolve shift his priorities and he makes many decisions that change his path in life. This is a gripping and uplifting book. I thoroughly enjoyed it."

" Totally inspiring. Uplifting and made me want to more in my life for Jesus my Saviour. The best part of the book I enjoyed, was his witnessing to Mr Green and leading him to salvation the day before he dies. Recommend to everyone!!! "

" Warning: spoilers. While I'm not one to find fault with someone's personal experience, I had a hard time with this book. I'm a fellow Christian, and the book has some very inspiring stuff, but I don't know, some parts bothered me. Maybe I'll just leave the overall assessment at that. The ultimate disappointment was that he was about to learn what God's great gift for him was...and he vanished. But he never mentioned the gift again the whole entirety of the text. I kept waiting for him to sum things up talking about what he thought the gift might be, but he didn't. Yes, it's the man's glorious experience, but it's still literature and still needs to answer questions that he himself sets up. "

" I read this book in one day...I just could not put it down. Amazing story that just draws you in from the beginning. It also made me think about my own faith. My husband saw it on the table and said he wanted to read it (shock!! He is NOT a reader!)...needless to say, HE read it in one day!!! So glad Capt. Black shared his story because it enriches those who read. "

" This is definitely written for a Christian audience. I was expecting more about how he was able to fly planes again after surviving a crash but the simple reason was that his strengthened faith led him to. Not a great or a bad read, but I don't think I was his target market. "

Many of Dale's prayers mirror ones that I myself have prayed. If you want to learn more about how God loves you, you absolutely must read this book. "
