About the Narrators
Frank Lovejoy (1912–1962)
was an American film, radio, and television actor who played a number of
detectives, reporters, and soldiers over the course of his career. His gritty
voice was ideal for radio, and he went on to star on such shows as Night Beat and Gangbusters.
Jim Jordan (1896–1988) was a voice actor best known for his portrayal of Fibber McGee in the 1930s hit radio comedy Fibber McGee and Molly and as the albatross Orville in the 1977 animated film The Rescuers.
Marian Jordan (1898–1961) was a successful voice actress during America’s golden age of radio. She is best remembered for her portrayal of Molly McGee, which she played opposite to her husband’s character, Fibber, in the popular radio comedy Fibber McGee and Molly in the 1930s.
