"I have been slowing reading the JP Beaumont series for a couple of years. I enjoyed this book..Felt like I gained some insight into his relationship with his ex-wife and his daughter. I read the background information on this book and found out that the Shakespeare plays are based on a place that the author goes to every summer. I will definitely be reading more books about Mr. JP in the future!!"

" I almost gave up, the writing is so breathless. Why did I persist? The local color. The clever plotting. The happy endings. The fantasy of never having to worry about money. "

" NOt one of my favorite JP Beaumont books. It mostly centers around his family and their involvement in a murder (or two) as they get together for an unpopular wedding. It was a bit slower than most of the series, but contained much of the wit and charm JP is well known for. The mystery comes together well at the end. "

" Another good read from Ms. Jance in her J.P. Beaumont series. It does involve some unsavory elements regarding incest and child pornography, but these are handled tastefully. "

" This "novel of suspense" was enjoyable mainly because it's set in Ashland, OR, and revolves around the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It was a quick and entertaining read, especially since I read it while on vacation in Ashland to attend OSF plays. "

" Another series I would like to start reading from the beginning. I enjoy the Joanna Brady books, but have avoided these, I look for mysteries by women about women almost exclusively. Have to make an exception for these. Well-written, good likeable characters. "
