Publisher Description

For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They’re just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck. Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody’s talking. When Janie taps into a classmate’s violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open – but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie’s in way over her head, and Cabel’s shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both. Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability – and it’s bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a dream catcher sealed, but what’s to come is way darker than she’d feared…

"When I read Wake, it seemed like an introduction to the characters. Fade begins where the first booked ended. You have to read Wake to understand this book. The conflict in the first book was secondary to the characters. In this book, the balance is better."

" Daughter gave me this book. Enjoyed it very much. It was a quick read. I had to get the rest of the series. "

" Janie and Cabel get really far fetched in this sequel to Wake. Not only that, but the part with the teachers and the GHB was very disturbing. I want to be more invested in these characters, but alas, I cannot. "

" Not the best book I've evr read, but it was okay. Short and quick read. I am still planning to read the last book "Gone" just to find out how the story concludes. "

" I like these books cause the author puts just enough of everything in it, just enough love story, mystery, craziness to keep you interested. It was a quick read and I enjoy the characters, I can't wait to see what the final book brings for them. "

" This book was even better than the first. I don't know how to say what I liked about it without giving anything away to someone who has not read it. I've always been interested in what dreams mean, so this book these books definitely caught my attention. "

" Written in the same choppy writing style as Wake, right along with the random times and dates. I enjoyed the story, but it's the best thing I ever read, nor the worst. I'll still be reading the third to complete the series, so clearly it's not all bad. "
