John Van Sloten is pastor of a church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is the author of Every Job a Parable and The Day Metallica Came to Church: Searching for the Everywhere God in Everything. He teaches a preaching course at Ambrose Seminary and has been the recipient of several John Templeton Foundation grants for preaching science.
