"Personally, I think this book was awesome then compared to what others say about it. It's got such a adventorous story line and I really love dragons. I absolutely loved the whole series, though the ending in Inheritance was a bit disppointing for me. You just have to give the book a chance, and if it's not what you want, then "okay" it's not your type of book."

" I love this series but read it a while ago. It was one of the first epic fantasies I read, and will stay with me always! "

" good book, loved the characters. the author keeps the reader moving and wanting to know what happens next. can't wait to get the next book in the series. "

" I read this as a bedtime story to Thunderclap. This was the third fantasy book we'd read together and easily the longest of the three [Lion Witch and the Wardrobe and The Hobbit], but the story flowed well, was not as dense as many other fantasy novels, and written in a way that it consistently captured TC's attention and spurred his imagination. " I really wanted to read this because I'd heard good things over and over. It was slow to start. Well I am now half way through and I still feel like I have to force myself to read this. So I'm giving up. Perhaps fantasy is not a genre I'm interested in after all, but this book was just painful. "

" Langsung jatuh cinta sama tokoh Eragon & Arya. Ceritanya sangat heroik. Tentang seseorang yang awalnya bukan siapa-siapa, menjadi tokoh pahlawan. Tapi sayangnya penggambaran visualnya di film layar lebar ga terlalu bagus. "

" I enjoyed reading this book to my daughter. This is the biggest book we've read together, and I am pleased by how much she enjoyed it---above and beyond the majority of books we've read. It follows a lot of the fantasy conventions developed in other books; not very original. "
