Once she was Eon, a girl disguised as a boy, risking her life for the chance to become a Dragoneye apprentice. Now she is Eona, the Mirror Dragoneye, her country's savior - but she has an even more dangerous secret. She cannot control her power. Each time she tries to bond with her Mirror Dragon, she becomes a conduit for the ten spirit dragons whose Dragoneyes were murdered by Lord Ido. Their anguish floods through her, twisting her ability into a force that destroys the land and its people. And another force of destruction is on her trail. Along with Ryko and Lady Dela, Eona is on the run from High Lord Sethon's army. Sethon has declared himself Emperor. In order to stop him, the renegades must find Kygo, the young Pearl Emperor, who needs Eona's power if he is to wrest back his throne.

Eona, with its pulse-pounding drama, thrilling fight scenes, sizzling tension - and many surprises - brings to a close an epic story.

" I didn't quite like this one as much as the first one since it really seemed to drag in the middle. However, it definitely redeemed itself with the end. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a fan of fantasy/dragons, especially since it's so based in the Eastern tradition rather than the Western I am so used to "

" I rated this book the same as the first, but I would have to say I liked them for different reasons. While the first was an interesting look into a unique world of dragons, I felt like this book was less predictable. "

" Let me tell you I loved Eon right and couldn't wait for Eona. I finished it in a day and a half. I stayed up till way passed midnight to finish it that is how good it was. I couldn't believe that everything Ido did I still wanted to jump on him and make out with him. SOOOOO GOOOOOD!! That is all I'm saying! "

" This was just like Eon (the first book), but with some added romance. The secrets and the suspense are still there, but there is much more war added in as well. The amazing fight scenes make you feel like you are there. The turmoil in Eona's heart is constant, and you can feel the battle within with every choice she makes. The writing in this story is fantastic and the world she has created feels so real as you go through the books. "

" Beautiful story. This book was so good and need to keep reading it everyday. In the end I was thinking Eona will not have her connecting with her dragon, but I was happy that she still had it. I recommend this book to anyone who loves this kind of stories. "

But it was fine...nothing spectacular, but kept me company while the kids slept and Matt was driving our truck cross-country. :) "
