Publisher Description

The highly anticipated sequel to Dreamhunter (also available in audio by Bolinda). Inventive and richly imagined, Elizabeth Knox's dramatic conclusion will satisfy readers - whether or not they've read Book One.

The horror of the Rainbow Opera riot is the talk of the country. Dreamhunter Grace Tiebold's reputation is in tatters and Laura is in hiding. But the nightmare has only just begun. Rumours about the government's torture of prisoners have been suppressed and corrupt minister Cas Doran is free to take his plans to shocking heights. For at a secret depot deep within the Place, a new, terrifying dream has been unearthed - waiting to wreak havoc on the country and give Cas Doran ultimate power. Laura and Rose know they must stop him, but in doing so they start a chain of events that could bring dreamhunting to its knees and blow open the deepest mysteries of the Place.

"This was the continuation of Dreamhunter..and such a great read. I had the beginnings of an idea about what the dreams were at the end of the first book, and I was about half right... But wow, this was an amazing book! Philosophical discussions, adventure, complex characters, political intrigue, a little romance...this book had it all. I must say that I still have one unanswered question that's bugging me a little bit, but other than that, this was a fabulous book..."

" Good sequel--because she chose some typical plot patterns, the conflict didn't feel as robust as it could have and I never did feel the love between the main character and her bf, but I just loved this story. I finished it in one day if that tells you anything. I grabbed a couple other Knox books at the library to see if she is that creative on a regular basis so stay tuned... "

" I really enjoyed this book- but it wasn't by any means a page turner (like I was expecting). This is a duet meant to be picked up at the library, or borrowed from a friend. "

" I love the concept of these books. The characters are great. I was able to connect with them. I had a problem with the very ending of the second book. Everything was fine until the Epilogue. If she would of left that out then I would of been ok. Read the books and you will see what I mean. Really the books are great. Dreamhunters are a great idea and it would be a really cool movie. "
