If you love The Great Gatsby, you'll want to read the Flappers series. Joy and tragedy collide in DIVA, the riveting conclusion to the Flappers series, set in the dazzling Roaring Twenties. Parties, bad boys, speakeasies—life in Manhattan has become a woozy blur for Clara Knowles. If Marcus Eastman truly loved her, how could he have fallen for another girl so quickly? Their romance mustn't have been as magical as Clara thought. And if she has to be unhappy, she's going to drag everyone else down to the depths of despair right along with her. Being a Barnard girl is the stuff of Lorraine Dyer's dreams. Finding out that Marcus is marrying a gold digger who may or may not be named Anastasia? A nightmare. The old Lorraine would have sat by and let the chips fall where they may, but she's grown up a lot these past few months. She can't bear to see Marcus lose a chance for true love. But will anyone listen to her? Now that the charges against her have been dropped, Gloria Carmody is spending the last dizzying days of summer on Long Island, yachting on the sound and palling around with socialites at Forrest Hamilton's swanky villa. Beneath her smile, though, Gloria's keeping a secret. One that could have deadly consequences . . .

"This series was one of the best series I have ever read! So much excitement. All about the roaring 20's and flappers. There were so many twist and turns! I loved every moment of it! This book of the series was probably my least favorite. I found this one to be a little predictable after the first two. This one didn't catch me off guard as much as the last two. The second one was probably my favorite. But this was still a great book. Tons of adventure, twist, and turns. I HIGHLY recommend it!"

" Great ending to a fun series! Sad to see these characters say goodbye. Did I mention this would make a fun tv show? "
— Lauren, 2/1/2014" I finished this in the eye doctors office. I am so mad that these books are over. boooooooo. "
— Nicholle, 2/1/2014" Really enjoyed the first 2 books in this series so it the anticlimatic droning in this book was a big let down! The ending was highly predictable and the book seemed like it lacked luster. Overall, it was an apathetic end to what I thought was an interesting and engaging series with much potential! "
— Lucia, 1/13/2014" A weak ending to an otherwise good series. The whole book was filler, and a poor attempt at tying up the many loose ends. "
— Rachael, 1/10/2014" This book was alright, better than the 2nd one however. I think sometimes the author forgot what era she was writing in because there are little things that wouldn't have been around or happened in the 20s. I "
— Andrea, 1/6/2014" guilty pleasure..the characters are now out of high school, and maybe it's their "grown-uppedness" that creates the need for so.much.drinking...this whole series really has characters being drunk, zozzled, etc for large parts of the story. otherwise, just a soap opera. "
— April, 12/26/2013" Tied it all up in a nice little bow. IT was a pretty good series. If you want a really good series about Flappers... go with Bright Young THings. If you want to read both series... start with this one and then read Bright YOung THings! "
— Michelle, 12/25/2013" This was easily my favorite book in the series. I thought all three girls had grown considerably, and this time Lorraine was actually my favorite voice in the book! She had some of the best lines, and I really loved her and Clara teaming up. "
— Katie, 12/23/2013" Absolutely amazing! It wrapped up the trilogy nicely, though I am so in love with the stories and the characters that I would love to have several more of them. A must read series for anyone who has an interest in the 1920s. "
— Samantha, 12/21/2013" LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FLAPPER SERIES!!! "
— Anita, 12/10/2013" Fabulous!!! I loved loved loved this series!! Full of glamour and trouble.... These leading ladies know how to live!!! Loved the characters, the description of 1920's life, and attention to places and details that brought this series to life!! What a trip!! "
— Marci, 11/23/2013" it was pretty good. but I am kinda glad its over. "
— Marisa, 10/19/2013" Eh...this book was okay. I kind of just wanted it to end. I recommend the first book in the series, but I could do without these other two follow ups. "
— Deanna, 8/26/2013" I started off excited about this one, but I felt let down by the ending. "
— Karen, 7/23/2013" So deliciously trashy. A fun, easy read about the roaring twenties. A great finale to the trilogy! "
— Abbey, 4/13/2013" These books are so much fun. Larkin is pretty obsessed with the clothes and describes them a little too much, but it's like a giant fun soap opera that isn't full of annoying people. "
— Leslie, 11/15/2012" I devoured this and was a bit disappointed in the tidiness of it all. I'll have more thoughts on this later. "
— Laura, 10/30/2012" Meh. I'm glad the series was over, but really nothing at all happened in this book. There was way too much tell, not enough show, and the ending was kind of blah. Still, I'm glad everything's worked out for all the characters. "
