I found the book to be a page turner that (unlike many others) didn't skmip on the characterization or details. Patterson expertly layers his take on fallen angels onto a realistically rendered Las Vegas in a way that keeps you turning the pages and which ultimately results in a very good supernateral thriller. The book keeps you guessing, but also provides a satisfying ending that will leave you wanting a follow up.
