Publisher Description

Dr. Alexandra Blake is about to give a series of prestigious lectures, but the butterflies in her stomach are for a far more exciting reason.

After the lecture she is meeting up with Dr Jeremy Quinn, esteemed psychologist and dangerous ex-lover - the only person with whom she has ever let her guard down completely. After a few glasses of champagne in his luxurious penthouse suite, Jeremy presents her with an intriguing offer: stay with him for the next 48 hours and accept two extraordinary conditions, the first of which leaves her utterly at his mercy, and he will give her an experience more sensual and extreme than any game they have ever played before.

This scorching novel is an erotic exploration of trust and betrayal, experimentation and control, lust and love.

"For all of you people saying they hate the book because of the cheating if you read the second book you would learn that her husband is accualy gay and has been planning on leaving her for another man. I think this was a good book deffintaly wasn't mind blowing but it was a good read :)"

" Didn't really like it. Too unbelievable not much of a story to it just sex and even that was poorly written. I am reading the second in the series only because I bought them both at the same time "

" This book seemed very clinical to me - more about research and experimentation rather than a connection between two people (which I what I initially thought the book would be about). I persevered through the whole book and, just as others have said in their reviews, I think it was a bit disturbing and also a bit morally ambiguous. So even though it ended on a bit of a cliff hanger, I'm not in any hurry to read the second book in the series. "

" I didn't understand Alexa, how she could leave her kids to be with Jeremy or how he could do the things to her that he did. He said he loved her but he was only looking how she could help him in his research. "

" This book follows the 50 Shades of Grey Train, however it has substance, a story line, that is thought provoking. This is more than just tantalizing housewife erotica, it adds a psychological dimension, which had me reassessing my own thought processes; beliefs & desires. "
