We see a completely different side of Christophe, learn more about several other major characters, and get to see Dru face down against Sergej. Dru really grows as a character, and she's so realistic--sarcastic, honest, and stubborn, still racked by guilt over Graves' kidnapping. " Dru is now Svetocha of the Schola and Christophe is training her. Graves is still MIA and Dru is getting desperate to find him. There are still traitors around and Dru gets betrayed again. She doesn't know if she should trust Christophe or Leon. Meanwhile, Sergei is holding Graves and Anna hostage with Dru to the rescue. The book ends with Graves and Dru going off on their own. "

I mean come on if Graves is suposed to be her best friend turned love intrest shouldnt she care alittle bit more then to just be obsessing over him in her thoughts? " This is the 4th book in the Strange Angels and definitely not the last. It's paranormal stuff, action-packed. Recommended it to Lea (my daughter) but she found it too violent. I found the fighting scenes quite exciting, though. "
