New York Times best-selling author Lili St. Crow has won a steadfast following for her Strange Angels series of darkly compelling-and undeniably sensual-tales. At 16, Dru has seen more supernatural phenomena than almost anyone on the planet. So her teen years are far from a walk in the park, especially after Sergej kidnaps her best friend Graves. Willing to do anything to save him, Dru embarks on a desperate quest that might just be her last.

"As usual, Lili St. Crow has created an addicting, thrill-packed masterpiece. The book starts off a little slowly, but I suppose the last part of the book, packed with fight scenes, made up for it. We see a completely different side of Christophe, learn more about several other major characters, and get to see Dru face down against Sergej. Dru really grows as a character, and she's so realistic--sarcastic, honest, and stubborn, still racked by guilt over Graves' kidnapping. The ending was powerful, but I do wonder how everything is going to wrapped up in just one book if Reckoning really is the final novel of the series."

" Team Edgar. ;) "
— Tina, 2/9/2014" Dru is now Svetocha of the Schola and Christophe is training her. Graves is still MIA and Dru is getting desperate to find him. There are still traitors around and Dru gets betrayed again. She doesn't know if she should trust Christophe or Leon. Meanwhile, Sergei is holding Graves and Anna hostage with Dru to the rescue. The book ends with Graves and Dru going off on their own. "
— Jenn, 2/7/2014" OHHHHH cant wait for this book to comes oout!!! if they dont find graves im going to cry really really hard! "
— Daii, 1/28/2014" This book was great and all but it pisses me off that Dru was stupid enough to belive that Christope was really looking for Graves. I mean come on if Graves is suposed to be her best friend turned love intrest shouldnt she care alittle bit more then to just be obsessing over him in her thoughts? Shes suposed to be a badass and i feel that shes kind of lost that toughness . I also cant belive that she didnt find Graves until the end ! Like what the hell ? Over all this is an awsome series that i love but i wish Dru would stop acting like such a pussy and get her act together !! "
— Hailey, 1/15/2014" I absolutely luv this series! "

— Amber, 9/10/2012" I really liked this book as well, the suspense was building the whole time and then left on a cliffhanger right at the end. What will happen next !? "
— Marnie, 7/22/2012" This book was a very fun and compelling read! It had romance and mystery with a some action. I love all of the characters and I want Graves and Dru to be together!!! "
— Sydney, 6/14/2012" This 4th book in the series was truly tantalizing/teasing!!! It was only a stepping-stone to what I expect will be an epic 5th book in the series. CANNOT WAIT to read what comes next!!!! "
— Ceegee, 4/29/2012" GOD I love these books. Jesus.

Oh yeah, and still Team Graves. "

— Dee, 9/22/2011" This is the 4th book in the Strange Angels and definitely not the last. It's paranormal stuff, action-packed. Recommended it to Lea (my daughter) but she found it too violent. I found the fighting scenes quite exciting, though. "
— Siew, 9/7/2011" I was debating whether to read this book or not because I was quite disappointed with the third one but Defiance was much better.

It was nice to have Graves out of it for a while and see the rest of Schola for a change and Dru's relationship get more complicated with Christophe. "
— Carmel, 8/29/2011" I saw a lot of reviews about people wanting Dru and Graves to end up together but I thing Christophe and Dru would be better of together. "
— Emily, 4/26/2011" Still really love this series. Can't wait for the next one! "
