"The Billy Boyle books always scare me to death but that's what he and his fellow soldiers are facing each book so...... I really enjoyed this one. It took us to a place I have visited as a tourist but hope its reality today is nothing like described in this particular book."

" The main story action takes place in the Vatican during WWII. Benn's characters are enjoyable and the plotting quick. The politics of neutrality are an interesting sub-plot. "

" I found the first of this series free on Amazon. I've gone on to read all of them. I enjoy reading fiction about WWI and WWII and Jamess Benn does a nice job of describing what's true and what's not. "
