Twenty-one years ago, Carol Fullerton's car was found abandoned by the side of a California highway. The teenager hasn't been seen or heard from since, and the case has long since gone cold. Now Carol's mother is dying. But before she draws her last breath she wants to know, once and for all, exactly what happened to her daughter....

Six months ago, Diane Kramer emptied her savings account and vanished. According to her sister, Andrea, the only clue to her whereabouts is her obsession with a charismatic weight-loss guru known for his unorthodox methods. Now Andrea fears Diane's body issues may have cost her more than she bargained for....

Kidnapped and terrorized as a teenager by a serial killer, Sacramento PI Lizzy Gardner knows better than anyone that letting go is easier said than done. The police have had their chance to save these women. Now it's Lizzy's turn.

" Was good, but not great. The first book in the series was much better. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Amanda | 2/18/2014

" This is the first T.R. Ragan I've read. Pretty interesting how the stories weave together. Very reminiscent of the Millenium trilogy. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Katy Sheffield | 2/18/2014

" Ok, but Hayley seems like a knock off Lisbeth Salander from the Stieg Larson books... That annoyed me. Storyline other than that was interesting enough. "

" Another one that kept me turning the pages. "

" I read this because I loved the first to the series so much. I didn't like this one as much as the first because I thought the plot of the story to be too scattered and slow. However I still enjoyed this book very much espically with all the twists and I liked how the character Haley reminded be a lot of Lisbeth Salander, from The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, who is one of my favorite characters. "

" This was a good book with a good ending. Not quite as good as abducted, the first book in the series, but still worth reading. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Wendy | 1/8/2014

" Not as good as 1st in series but I will read #3 once it is released. This one was left with a couple of cliff-hangers and I can't imagine there not being a 3rd to the series. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Linda Kimpton | 1/7/2014

" Was not overly in love with this book. I had read her first one but had forgotten some of it and thought this book would update me a little bit on what had happened, but it didn't. It was okay but don't think I would necessarily recommend to friends. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Rhod | 1/5/2014

" As stated in the reviews I did like the first book better, I missed Jared and Lizzy in this one. That being said I did enjoy the book. A very easy read with a story on each page. There were not pages and pages of descriptions just kept going and I enjoyed that. Looking forward to the next one. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Reco | 11/27/2013

" This book was okay. The main problem I had was that there was no character in this that compared to spiderman in the last book. Although a few of the characters did some sick things one them always left his "victims" feeling grateful after he helped them. But it was still a good read. "

" I read the Kindle version, which isn't listed here. The story moved along at a good clip, but sometimes it was challenging to keep strack of all the characters between the two cases. The character list via the Kindle app wasn't much help here. "
