Publisher Description

"I loved this book. It's part fairy tale, part mystery, part horror with a bit of romance thrown in. It's the story of 3 Irish sisters, their aunt and a good looking storyteller. 2 sisters end up murdered by their aunt, who in turn is murdered by them. Moerk uses the sister's diaries to tell the story. Best of 2009 for me."

" I listened to the unabridged audio version of this story and loved it. Very Irish, very gothic, very edge-of-your-seat story. It requires you to suspend disbelief, as all old-fashioned stories do, and let yourself be swept away. Great story for Halloween! "

" Listening too. - Excellent Irish accents from the readers (Hi Stephen Hoye! Love you!!) Good thriller, liked the multiple POV. But then the end wasn't as shocking as I expected it to be. I don't know - I kinda lost focus at the end. "
