" Definitely a different type of book but highly enjoyable. You're never quite sure where things are going to go and the trip to Ireland is well worth the visit! "

" I listened to the unabridged audio version of this story and loved it. Very Irish, very gothic, very edge-of-your-seat story. It requires you to suspend disbelief, as all old-fashioned stories do, and let yourself be swept away. Great story for Halloween! "

" I loved this book. It's part fairy tale, part mystery, part horror with a bit of romance thrown in. It's the story of 3 Irish sisters, their aunt and a good looking storyteller. 2 sisters end up murdered by their aunt, who in turn is murdered by them. Moerk uses the sister's diaries to tell the story. Best of 2009 for me. "

" Interesting story. Well told. While there were a few 'holes' in the story itself I thought it was fun. "

Molly Lenty | 1/6/2014
" Pretty good book, entertaining, but I think it was meant to be more suspenseful than it actually was. "

Kristie | 12/12/2013
" I never was so shocked within the first 15 pages of book before this one. Once over that, the story was consistently interesting but far less creepy. Never would have guessed the ending! "

Casper Borly | 10/21/2011
" The plot was too thick and had holes in it. Two points for the creativity. "
-

Alisa | 10/19/2011
" This book has the wrong cover. It should be packaged much younger and edgier - not so cozy and ghostly. "
-

" Listening too. - Excellent Irish accents from the readers (Hi Stephen Hoye! Love you!!) Good thriller, liked the multiple POV. But then the end wasn't as shocking as I expected it to be. I don't know - I kinda lost focus at the end. "
-

-

Diahann | 4/2/2011

-
