"This is the third of a series and the action just keeps rolling. I continue to be sucked into the story and love the fast-paced development of the plot. I identify a great deal with the theme of good vs. evil told on the scale of beautiful unicorns facing an old and relentless enemy. The plot twists are great and so many of them I have not seen coming. The series feels very natural in a way that comes from a combination of good writing and strong, believable characters that I identify with. I am extremely impressed with this series and can't wait to finish it."

" I read the first book in this series when I was in grade school, and I'm just now getting around to the end of it as an adult, but it STILL has me captivated. The third book is very different from the first, switching between several different characters with each chapter, whereas the first book was told all from Cara's point of view. I like the direction the story is taking, and I can't wait to pick up the final book in the series. "

" I waited for years for this book to come out - I would even check his website to get updates on when it was coming. I really enjoyed it until I got to the end and was left hanging again! Now I will wait another year or more for book four. My suggestion...If you have not read this series wait until book four comes out and then read them all one after the other! They are great books but there is just too much left unsolved at the end of each of the books to wait for the next one to come out that long. "

" Great book for those who have already read books 1 into the land of the unicorn and book 2 song of the wander - it continues the story from where it was left off in book 2 song of the wanderer - it ends leading into the next book and fans will want to have book 4 the last hunt ready to read. " I read the first two books in this series years ago, and the third one finally came out last year so of course I had to re-read the others and finish what I once started. Unfortunately, the author has not yet finished the whole series and there is at least one more book to be written. All I can say is that it had better not take as long as the third one to be published! "

" What can I say, I really enjoy this series, I was hooked in 4th grade and have waited years to finally hear the rest of the story. Coville fleshed out the world of Luster a lot more in this book and has set the scene for the last book with a great battle. "
