John Himmelman is an author and illustrator of nearly eighty books for children and books for adults on various nature topics. He lives with his wife Betsy in Killingworth, CT, and they have two adult children, Jeff and Lizzie. At home there’s always the usual menagerie of dogs, cats, and chickens keeping him company throughout the day.
