"I had a little trouble getting into this book in the beginning. The sudden accident with Meg was kinda laughable. I think that was because a bit confusing and not written correctly for that type of situation. The rest of the book however was nicely done. I thought it would be very predictable but it wasn't. I liked how it turned out that that Meg's beloved Will was actually the Jonathan character rather than the actual Jonathan. The build up to when Serena and Jonathan finally made love (as it seems like in their past it was all about lust) was beautiful. The back story about Will came as a bit of a shock, and really seemed to come out of no where. I mean why would he do such a thing? There was no motive to his actions except for being drunk. This man who came off prim and proper? I doubt would sleep with someone besides his betrothed. Maybe that's just my opinion but I did enjoy this book and was glad that I won it."

— Linda, 10/27/2013" I was intrigued by the plot but was sorely disappointed with the compromises the characters had to live with. An average read, and it certainly doesn't make me want to follow up with the rest of the series. 3 stars. "

— Maria, 10/28/2012" Good start to a new series. The storyline might be a bit predictable at times, but that didn't bother me much. I enjoyed the characters and I found myself laughing and crying with them. All in all, this was a sweet romance that reminds us redemption and love can and does find us. "
