“The question Kathleen Reardon asks is whether you will continue to allow your workplace conversations to run you, or whether you will make them serve your best interests. Are you playing a great game of chess or just ducking as the boss throws rocks at your career? I’m constantly amazed at how few people communicate effectively. Read this book and join the few.”
— Peter Samuelson, former chairman of the executive committee, Panavision, Inc.
“We all understand the power of the right comeback but not how to harness it. This book is important because it charts a clear map for success in a previously murky region of communication.”
— Robert B. Cialdini, New York Times bestselling author“A lively, encouraging book, bound to banish l’esprit de l’escalier forever.
— Publishers Weekly“I cannot stop telling my friends about Dr. Reardon’s wonderful book. How many times have I been put on the spot? It will happen again, but next time I will be prepared!”
