"Not what you would expect at all (i.e. I am automatically expecting something to do with THE OTHER grey books with a title such as this - therefore wall to wall sex (excuse the pun!)) so this was a pleasant surprise. I will be buying the next 2- Not too shabby!"

" This book was ok to me..I felt the story line was young, so it had a really difficult time keeping my attention. I also thought it went from drama scenes to drama scenes a bit too much. It was a short read though, so once I really sat down with it, I did get through it quickly. "

" Excellent book. Do not get this one mixed up with the other color me gray by Robinson(, which to me sounds like it is a Jerry Springer episode) which is about a woman who births twins from two different fathers. "

" Didn't deliver on its potential. Too much superfluous detail that bogged down the potentially good story line. "

" If I could give half stars I would have on this book, I would have given it 2 1/2 stars instead of just 2. I chose the lower status only due to the writing. I found it very informative but could tell it was not to the caliber of other writers. Now saying that, the story was very good. It was different material than I usually read but found the main female character very interesting, a little unbelievable that she has been prepared so much by her teachers, but still I enjoyed her. I will probably read the next in the chronicles. "

" I thought the book was okay. Alex Stanton annoyed me a bit and it is hard to see her as this tough girl who has had all this military training. I may read the second and third, but not sure yet. "

" Very fun character and great story line. Alex reminds of what Eve Dallas from the in death series would be if she had a pampered past. Started book two can't wait! "

" I really didn't care for this one...not the story, not the characters, especially Alexis. Is there anything she can't do because Mommy and Daddy's money paid to teach her EVERYTHING? She was extremely unlikable to me so I won't be reading more of this series. "

" No spoilers. Good easy light read. Definitely trying to cash in on the shades of grey phenomenon with the title, but not the same kind if book at all. No literary value, but entertaining. Think of it as marshmallow fluff for your brain. "
