"A quick, sweet holiday read. Some come close, but never quite cross the line, of being too sweet. Not so much about Christmas specifically as about the importance of connecting with family and friends -- old and new -- during the holiday season."

" Ilove L.M. Montgomery! She is a great writer and has written many popular stories. I read this book every Christmas! "

" This was a very sweet little collection of short stories all with a holiday theme. My favorites were the ones that were excerpts from the Anne series. The others were supposed to have been written to be included in the holiday issues of magazines. They all had some good, moral holiday message. Several were quite similar, but I supposed they were written in different years. It would be really great to read aloud with the family during the Christmas season as most of the stories were quite short. "

" More short stories by the Canadian Queen of Short Stories, Lucy Maud Montgomery. As can be guessed by the title, these all revolve around the Holiday season. "

" This was a wonderful, feel-good selection of stories centered on the Christmas themes of good will, self-sacrifice, joy in the simple things of life, God's provision through people, distress turned to delight. "

" Another book of short stories by L.M. Montgomery. I like this collection but not enough to buy it. It was also heavily padded, including chapters from the Anne books. "

" This was really cute. Some of the stories were a bit repetitive, but they all had lovely morals and were fun to read. I especially liked the excerpts from the Anne books. Makes me want to re-read that entire series! :) "

" These stories are primarily ones that never saw the light of day after being published in magazines in Montgomery's lifetime. There's a reason for that. I love reading more about Anne and her world, but these are not my favorites. "
