"Clearly the weakest of the three books, with too much time spent in what feels like historical time-lining, it is nonetheless a fantastic adventure and easily worth the time and money. Perhaps it only gets that little bit of negativity from me because of how fantastic the first and third books in the series are. The narrator is now my favorite, an amazing voice, clearly understands and is prepared for what he is presenting and none of the over-the-top, and irritating voices."

Watson's tale is gore soaked and profanity laden -- full of visceral combat and earthy humor, and laced with subtle magic.
— Publishers Weekly on Age of Iron" Loved this series! Great characters and great plot. Mix of Braveheart with a tad bit of Tolken "
