About the Authors

Jack Canfield is the cocreator of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, which includes forty New York Times bestsellers and has received international recognition. An internationally renowned corporate trainer, keynote speaker, and popular radio and TV talk show guest, he is also the CEO of the Canfield Training Group and the founder of the Transformational Leadership Council. He lives in Santa Barbara, California.

Mark Victor Hansen has been using his dynamic personality to spread the message of unlimited possibility, for all people, everywhere, for over thirty years. He is most recognized for being one the co-founders of the beloved, and world record breaking Chicken Soup for the Soul series. He is a bestselling author and an accomplished entrepreneur. He is highly respected, and has been inducted into the Sales & Marketing Executive International Hall of Fame and accepted the Horatio Alger Award for Distinguished Americans Extraordinary Life Achievement in the area of Free Enterprise Leadership. Today, he is still passionate about ending poverty and illiteracy and continues to make an indelible mark through his writing, speaking, entrepreneurial, and philanthropic efforts.

Amy Newmark is publisher, coauthor, and editor of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. She has edited or coauthored the last one hundred books in the series. Amy graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University where she majored in Portuguese, and spent her senior year editing a newsletter about telecom sales in Brazil and also traveling in northeast Brazil, collecting poems and stories of local writers for her thesis. She went on to run her own hedge fund, specializing in telecommunications and technology companies and stepped in as publisher of Chicken Soup for the Soul in 2008. She is delighted to have come full circle in her writing career. Amy is married to Chicken Soup’s CEO, Bill Rouhana.

Tanya Eby is a novelist and an audiobook narrator who has earned several AudioFile Earphones Awards and been nominated for the Audie Award. She has a BA degree in English language and literature and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine.

About the Narrators

Bruce Jenner won the gold medal in the 1976 Olympic decathlon with a record-breaking 8,634 points, earning him the title of Worlds Greatest Athlete. He has since made many appearances on primetime television, commentated for various sports broadcasts, and hosted his own health show. Now he is best known for appearing on the popular E! Network show Keeping up with the Kardashians.

Laural Merlington is an audiobook narrator with over two hundred titles to her credit and a winner of multiple Earphones Awards. An Audie Award nominee, she has also directed over one hundred audiobooks. She has performed and directed for thirty years in theaters throughout the country. In addition to her extensive theater and voice-over work, she teaches college in her home state of Michigan.

Tanya Eby is a novelist and an audiobook narrator who has earned several AudioFile Earphones Awards and been nominated for the Audie Award. She has a BA degree in English language and literature and an MFA in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine.
