" I felt the same way about this book as I did about her last one--initially annoyed by the "miscommunications" between Darcy and Elizabeth and loving it by the ending! I really liked the rapport and strong bond between the couple as well as Darcy's unwavering devotion to Elizabeth. My minor complaint is tthat Elizabeth's insecurity and lack of confidence azt the book's beginning did not match the strong character I believe her to possess! "

" Well, the best thing I can say about these is that they were a quick, light read. Very, very much written like a Harlequin romance novel. They have scenes of Lizzy seducing and bedding Darcy before marriage which really bothers me even thought I don't fell like I'm a complete purist, but come on! "

" Elizabeth and Darcy end up spending time together after the proposal disaster. One of the more passionate of Reynold's variations and maybe a bit too much angst and misunderstanding to get them to the inevitable conclusion but a good variation overall. "

" I love her Pride and Prejudice spin offs. Her writing style is fitting and characters more or less retains their nature as Austen may have intended, but with bit more approachable air, I think. "

" Yep! Still love this. Hate Mr. Bennett and he is prtrayed exactly as I see him in this particular variation. Georgiana is a little more outspoken than her original character. Misunderstandings ensue though and torture me exceedingly! But our lovers happily come together as they should. "

" I liked this book better than the Last Man because I felt like the author retained the qualities of Elizabeth and Darcy that I so loved in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, despite the scandalous behavior. "
