"I have read this play about seven or eight times. I used this play for my final script analysis project in college and kept finding more and more bizarre qualities hidden in the text each time I read it. I am a huge fan of dark plays with twisted characters."

" I agree with other reviewers in that the play had a promising start, but eventually degenerated into chaotic nonsense. It could, of course, be argued that this is the point Shepard wishes to convey, but any impact was lost on me. "

" This play was super engrossing-- I didn't want to stop reading it. BUT it was really disturbing. I felt uncomfortable throughout most of it. I definitely think that's natural considering the main themes involved fighting for power/dominance and incest. "

" I admire the scripts when they're well acted, but they're too reliant on performance to be interesting to read. And may I also add that as much as I admire Shepard (and I really do), I'm so grateful not to be living in his miserable world. "
