It seems that Bunnicula, the vampire rabbit, is back to his old ways - or so Chester thinks, having found pale vegetables drained of their juices and scattered about the Monroe family kitchen. This time Chester decides to take matters into his own hands (or rather paws). Can Harold let Chester get away with hurting an innocent bunny, no matter what his harebrained suspicions are? When the Monroes notice Bunnicula's weakened condition and rush him to the vet, the chase is on, ending with a dramatic confrontation in a most unusual (and dangerous) location. James Howe offers Bunnicula fans another delectable blend of mystery, suspense, and belly laughs.

"Made for a perfect Readathon listen! Victor Garber is a wonderful narrator! I swear, I may be 36, but the writing is still funny. It's nice to re-read childhood favorites and have them still live up to your memory of them. ;)"

" Continuing the series here. My boys and I love these books. They're really fun. Chester's crazy antics were a little hard to follow in this one, but it was still a really fun read. "
— Matthew, 2/15/2014" I haven't read this one, it is the newer addition to the series. We got busy with the holidays and haven't had a chance to read at night lately, but we will have to read this one! "
— Katherine, 2/12/2014" As much as I enjoy the other animal characters in the series, it's a delight to see Bunnicula in a starring role again. Silly vampire bunny. "
— Kaethe, 1/17/2014" He's back! The little pink eyed rabbit... I don't know... does some stuff. Bites things? Good if you're into things that really make you think. "
— Geoff, 1/13/2014" Loved this book too. A lot of kids in my class have dug through the bins and found all the others I have. It's great to see so many students excited by reading. "
— Paula, 12/17/2013" Now I know the appeal to kids and the reason a stage production was created. Fun. "
— Jenn, 12/16/2013" My daughter seemed to enjoy this as much as the others, though I found the ending to be a bit of a let down; a mystery is built up and never really resolved. Quite funny in parts. "
— Skylar, 11/16/2013" It's always fun to read a book with the girls that they really enjoy. They're already talking about checking out another one! I loved this series as a kid, too. "
— Shelley, 11/16/2013" wow! almost as good as Bunnicula! "
— Sara, 10/22/2013" This book was a wonderful mix of mystery and adventure. What kind of mischief will Bunnicula get into this time? "
— Abigail, 9/6/2013" I think other people would think it was scary, but I don't. I think it was really, really funny. "
