About Margaret Wise Brown
Margaret Wise Brown (1910–1952) was a prolific American writer of children’s books, including the picture books Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny. A graduate of Hollins College and the progressive Bank Street College of Education, she combined her literary aspirations with the study of child development.
