"I have not read the first book in this series - but I certainly wish I had! Although I do believe I was able to read book 2 without book 1, I am sure I would have felt so much more "complete". Having said that - I will definitely read book 3 and am looking forward to it. Brielle now lives in a world where she knows that humans are not the primary characters. She can see so much more from the supernatural. Satan is now after her since she can see through the celestial veil. This is a YA Fantasy and I love YA books. They seem to allow for so much more flexibility and imagination and this book definitely did not disappoint. Brielle is a strong character who has struggles and successes. This book reminds me of many mythological type books that I have read. The mix between humans and supernatural beings are so intriguing and this book is no exception. The third book in this series should bring it all to a nice conclusion - but in the meantime, book 2 concludes with me wanting so much more. The struggles are familiar - good versus evil - with a Christian element and a different spin. I give this book 4 stars and look forward to book 3!I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review."

— Bodea, 1/20/2014" Great book, great to see the characters again, the church stuff could get a bit heavy at times, but the ending was so good, and cliff-hanger-y, and I can't wait for the last book! "

— Sky, 5/5/2013" Dittemore breaks the norm by IMPROVING on her debut YA novel, Angel Eyes. I loved Broken Wings more, and thought she really pushed herself and the characters. LOVE LOVE this series! So glad Shannon took the plunge of faith to write these stories. They so needed to be told! "
— Ronie, 4/24/2013" Can't wait for next book this was the best one so far "
