    " An okay read. I enjoyed the fact that it was set in St. Augustine. Being a Floridian and having visited St. Augustine on several occasions it was fun to read about it. The storyline was okay, the plot was good enough to keep me reading. Not a lot of 'horror', but some moments. "

Douglas Hirt was born in Illinois, but headed to New Mexico at eighteen. Doug earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of Santa Fe and a master’s of science degree from Eastern New Mexico University. During this time he spent several summers living in a tent in the desert near Carlsbad, New Mexico, conducting biological baseline surveys for the Department of Energy. A short story writer and the award-winning author of over thirty books, Doug now makes his home in Colorado Springs with his wife Kathy and their two children, Rebecca and Derick.
