Publisher Description

Sweet Dreams Chocolate Company has been in the Sterling family for generations, ever since Great-Grandma Rose literally dreamed up her first fabulous recipe. But now it looks as if they're about to lose Sweet Dreams to the bank - and that would be a disaster, not only for the family but for the town of Icicle Falls, Washington. Can Samantha, the oldest daughter and new head of the company, come up with a way to save it?

After Samantha does some brainstorming with her mother and sisters, inspiration strikes. They'll have a chocolate festival! Time's running out, but the Sterling women are determined and the town's behind them, so everything's bound to go smoothly....

Or not. Events seem to be conspiring against Samantha, and her mother's attempts to help aren't helping. To make matters worse, the fate of her company is in the hands of her archenemy, Blake Preston, the bank manager with the football-hero good looks. It's enough to drive her to chocolate. But Blake's also enough to convince her that (believe it or not) there's something even better than chocolate.

" I was expecting a romance and didn't get one so big disappointment here. I enjoyed the secondary characters a lot as well as the small town. The story between Samantha and Blake could fit in 5 or 6 pages tops... as I said, NOT a romance. "

" Not as enjoyable as other books by this author. But still a descent diversion. The main character was a bit self absorbed and whiny. I got a little tired of it. Also the various subplots and switching pov wasn't done very well and I thought their story lines were not well developed. "

" I had read Merry Ex-Mas before this one, which is the first in the series. I thought that book was just ok. After reading 50 pages into this one is is the same, nothing special, just ok, not sure that I want to read another book that is like that. In the end, this one just isn't for me. "

" This book was a good, light hearted read. I enjoyed the previous books I read by her a little more, but I think we will follow the sisters through their prospective journeys so that is intriguing to me. I enjoyed the business sense as well as the Chocolate woven through. It's a good little valentines day read without being overtly 'holidayey' "

" This book made no sense to me--the two main characters fell in "love" with almost no interaction with each other. I kept thinking, when is Sheila Roberts going to get on with the romance part of the story? In my opinion, she never did. "

" This was a heartwarming story and well written. I do think there were too many stories to keep up with within the story though. The end seemed a bit rushed. I would have liked it better with a bigger focus on the love story. "

" For a book centered on chocolate, it sure was vanilla. Too much about side characters and I didn't get the 'relationship' between Blake and Samantha at all, except that she thought he was hot or something. I don't think I'll read any more in the series. "
