He is vice president for counterterrorism and corporate security at Stratfor, the influential private security intelligence company sometimes called “the shadow CIA.” He is the former deputy chief of the State Department’s Diplomatic Security Service, the Department of State’s counterterrorism branch.
Samuel M. Katz is an internationally recognized author and expert on Middle East security issues, international terrorism, counter-terrorism, and special operations.
