Publisher Description

The public labels me a Mafia monster, a man without a soul, and one hated by many. They're not wrong, and I'm not sorry for it.

When my father orders me to marry a longtime enemy's daughter to settle a score between our families, she did what any smart woman with a beating heart would do. She ran. So, I hunted her down.

She tries to negotiate for her freedom, but despite being inexplicably drawn to the deviant woman, I refuse her pitiful bribes with pleasure. I'll promise her freedom to get the answers I need, but I'll burn this city to the ground before I let her go.

Contains mature themes.

About the Author

M. N. Forgy is the author of three novels, a novella, and romantic suspense novels in several series, including the Devil’s Dust, Sin City Outlaws, Shadow Keepers MC, Devil’s Dust MC Legacy, and Omerta Law series. She started writing at a young age but never took it seriously until years later, as a stay-at-home mom, she opened her laptop and started writing again.

About the Narrators

Alexander Cendese is a New York–based actor and narrator whose credits include roles on and off Broadway, in films, and on popular television shows, including Law & Order: SVU and All My Children. He holds a BFA from the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

Cornell Collins was a hippie, a mod, a punk, a new-romantic, and a new-waver. Now, he proudly calls himself “newly middle aged.” Narrating audiobooks has shown Cornell that life in the modern world can, in some ways, be just as good as the golden 70s and 80s, and he has found a peace in telling stories. His life partner and daughter are very patient and much cleverer than he is.
