"This book was pretty good. The main character,Jeremy,is in high school and has social life problems. He's considered much of a dork. He really likes this girl called Christine. Of course,Jeremy isn't Prince Charming. So in desperate need to change his life around he buys a "squip", a micro computer that gives you advice for having a perfect social life. Pretty neat huh? Not exactly. Jeremy starts realizing that the squip isn't working on the girl of his dreams. The squip also starts making Jeremy do stuff he doesn't feel so comfortable....it starts making Jeremy think...was the squip really worth it?"

" This was a good story, but i could have done without all the teenage boy sex angst, which was a little more detailed than I really needed. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and the writing was good. "
— Deandrea, 2/14/2014" Loved the whole book... Until the ending "
— Chante, 2/12/2014" graphic book for high school teenagers who have always wanted to be part of the "in crowd". Lots of profanity, but VERY VERY FUNNY---boys and girls alike have loved this book, couldn't keep it on my shelf! "

— Kimberly, 11/12/2013" Short but entertaining. I just felt short with the conflict and ending. I wish Vizzini would write a follow up to this! "

— jared, 10/28/2011" I realize that I'm in the minority -- but the best thing about this book is the cover. Moderately entertaining with a twist (computer that provides instructions on how to become popular) -- I never was able to like...any...of the characters enough to care what happened to them. "
— Hilary, 7/8/2011" Be More Chill is a science fiction book about a boy who ingests a super computer to make him cool.Fans of science fiction books might like this book but I personally thought the main characters were super shallow. "

— Ryan, 2/17/2011" A good book for all teens. "
— Joe, 2/5/2011" I see how other readers found this book to be offensively sexist. I saw it through the whole book, but it felt like a playful (though still dangerous)throwback to the boy-likes-girl movies from the 80's. "
— Hayley, 2/4/2011" it was okay but not better than the first book Ned Vizzini made "
— Dholon, 2/2/2011" read this one so long ago...but I remember it well...great premise. wish I had a copy to give a student.... "
