It would take a miracle for Storm Decker to return to Red Hook—or a
tragedy. The neighborhood holds too many painful memories of his
troubled childhood, along with the mistake that sent him running from
the kindness of the ex-cop he'd come to consider his father. But when
Pete suddenly falls ill, Storm is called home to face the past he tried
to leave behind long ago.
Breanna Collins never expected to see
Storm again after he left town without a word, breaking her heart. She's
angry that he can't seem to appreciate all the changes in their
hometown. But she still feels a powerful connection to her old flame.
And unless she can remind him of all the reasons to stay, she knows
he'll never stick around long enough to give their romance the second
chance it deserves. . . .

"This was the first book that have read by Robin Kaye and found it like many fast and easy and enjoyable. Of course with most of these the ending is predictable but fun to read. Old romance back in town, try to resist but find old love still there. What will happen?"

" Cute story. Not great, but I'll continue with the series likely. "
— Norma, 12/17/2013" 2.5/5. This was just ok for me. I really had a difficult time empathizing or even liking the heroine. She was kind of a bitch for what seemed like not a big deal. Not one of my favorites. "
— Rachel, 12/16/2013" Great first book in the Series! Can't wait for the next "
— Gina, 11/30/2013" One of my favorite by Robin Kaye so far. Looking forward to the rest of the series! "
— Judy, 11/22/2013" About 1/3 of the way through, I was really ready to "give it up". It got better though when D.O.G. came into the picture. He added some depth as well as the main character's mother. "
— Cassie, 8/23/2013" Loved this. Great characters, great internal conflict, and Red Hook. "
— Abby, 7/23/2013" Great, fast runways read. Can't wait for the next in the series. "
— MJ, 7/11/2013" Pretty dull. I labored through it. Hero's name is Storm. Heroine's nickname is Breezy. Right. "
— Jane, 5/11/2013" Looking forward to the rest of the series! "
