When Remy's grandmother dies, it means leaving her life in San Francisco and returning to a town she swore she'd never revisit, forced to confront a world she'd worked hard to put behind her over the last twelve years.

"While the narrative is the usual high quality I've come to associate with Monica McCallan, I admit I didn't connect with the POV MC (Remy) or the story arc. If you enjoy lots of angst with a big dose of misunderstandings and miscommunication, this may be your particular jam.
