HER LOVE HAS COME ALONG . . .
Amy Michaels loves her new life in Lucky Harbor. A waitress in the local diner, she's looking forward to her first weekend hike through the mountains. But when a wrong turn takes her off the trail, she finds herself up close and personal with forest ranger Matt Bowers. And even though she's tempted to kiss that sexy smile right off his face, she won't make the mistake of getting involved with the town heartthrob.
A former cop whose life went south, Matt doesn't let anyone get too close. But something about the feisty beauty caught his eye the moment he first saw her in the diner. After a hot night under a starry sky, Matt can't deny their attraction-or the fact that for the first time in a long time, he feels the stirrings of something more. Now it's up to Matt to help Amy see that, no matter what is in their past, together they can build a future in Lucky Harbor.

"This book was amazing with all those ups and downs that the character of Amy was struggling with like sexual abusive behavior of her stepfather or screwed-up behavior of hers and the strength in the character of Matt. I recommend this to book to all contemporary romance readers who are looking for a book to enjoy. This book had a kind of attraction to me that I couldn't put it down because all the time, my mind was busy with the chemistry between the characters of Amy and Matt. I'm waiting to read the third part of this series."

— Marulett, 1/30/2014" Ranger Hot Buns Matt Bowers love story with Amy Michaels was absolutely wonderful! I love Tough Girl's attitude and trying to solve her grandmother's journey to Lucky Harbor so many years ago. Jill Shalvis is one of my favorite authors and weaves a wonderful tale with all the members of LH. "
— Eileen, 1/28/2014" I wasn't sure how Shalvis was going to do Amy's story and I've got to tell you, it turned out very good. I loved At Last and thought it was very well written. Both Amy and Matt are perfect for each other. "
— Ann, 1/17/2014" At Last was very good. A little different from what I was expecting but I loved Amy and Matt together. A good part of the story is about Amy's journey of self-discovery and her relationship with teenage runaway Riley. I found Amy's grandmother's story very touching. I would have liked just a little more Amy and Matt and especially more Matt but I still loved it enough that I'd give it 4.75 stars. "

— Leesa, 11/6/2013" Every time I read an earlier book by Jill Shalvis that isn't maybe as good as her current stuff, I'm still thankful for it because her Lucky Harbor series is AMAZING! Her male and female leads are great (Ranger Hot Buns?!?), and it's nice seeing the recurring characters. "
— Rochelle, 7/27/2013" I really loved Amy and Matt. Watching her grow and change into a more confident woman by the end was wonderful. Shalvis wrote very likeable and realistic characters. At times, it felt like she was in my head. Amy's character resonated with me on a much deeper level. A great read!! "
