"Found this book really helpful in understanding the role of angels. Towards the beginning of the book he looks at how satan tries to rob mankind of the strength and comfort of faith by using "ifs" and "buts" to make us doubt God (i.e Garden of eden). He looks also at how angels are to help people minister the message of the gospel of Christ, but they are not to detract from it. In the middle of the book he talks aboutHebrews 11 where he believes angels helped and protected some people who accomplished amazing things for God but then others suffered and died. He goes as always to the cross of Jesus to explain why. He says "In the sufferings and death of these great saints not physically delivered God had a mysterious plan and was performing His will. Knowing this, they suffered and died by faith". The last few chapters give examples of angels ministering to people but clarifies that no angel can be an evangelist as Jesus died for mankind - we are the only ones who can witness our faith to others. Angels cannot enjoy sonship in Jesus or be joint heirs with Jesus. Lastly he talks about the role of angels in the end times and how angels, heavens spectators watch and support us as they prepare our welcome home. Would definately recommend."

— T, 2/20/2014" This book gives a good explanation of "angels." They are NOT the souls of the departed but beings created by God for purposes not the same as those of humans. "
— Mary, 2/10/2014" This was a very encouraging book. I sometimes forget that God sends His angels to help and protect us. This reminder that I am not alone was very much appreciated and enlighting. "

— Barb, 1/13/2014" Slow starting. Has mini-topics within chapters style - not my favorite. However, the last few chapters more than make up for the beginning. "
— Dale, 1/7/2014" Well worth reading - interesting. "
— Carlene, 1/7/2014" Learned a great deal about angels. This book changed my views about angels; it separated myths about angels from biblical truths. I now realize that angels are all around us, working for our Lord. "
— Wanda, 1/4/2014" Some really good stuff in here but also repetitive in places. This is a good book for Christians, with a certain degree of knowledge of scripture, who want to focus specifically on the 300 or so references to angels in the Bible. "
— Zann, 12/26/2013" Wow! So much I never knew about angels "
— Emily, 12/20/2013Billy Graham (1918–2018), world-renowned preacher, evangelist, and author, delivered the Gospel message to more people face-to-face than anyone in history and ministered on every continent of the world in almost 200 countries and territories. Engraved on a simple fieldstone in the Memorial Prayer Garden where he is buried at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina, these words exemplify how the man and the minister wished to be remembered: "Preacher of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ."

A veteran audiophile, Maurice listened to well over one thousand audiobooks while on the road and fell in love with the genre. From his past experience in broadcasting, community theater, music performance, and ministry he saw narrating as a means to merge his love for books, ideas, learning, and spiritual evolution with his interest in artistic expression. While his narration experience has primarily been nonfiction, personal development, and spiritual-growth titles, Maurice anticipates using his authentically warm and folksy southern style to entertain and inspire through storytelling. Inspired most by the behind-the-scenes artists who engineer, direct, edit, and master the audiobook productions we hear, Maurice has become an absorbed student and participant in the process.
